Grenada. Political life was characterized by tensions within the government and dissatisfaction with the leadership of Prime Minister Tillman Thomas. A Minister was dismissed, Minister of Environment and Foreign Trade Joseph Gillert. Three resigned independently during the year, Minister of Tourism Peter David, Foreign Minister Karl Hood and Environment and Foreign Trade Minister Glynis Roberts.
