The first quarter of each year is absolute madness in terms of presentations of smartphones. What does not arrive at the CES in Las Vegas, the technology fair that opens the year and takes place at the moment, makes it during MWC in Barcelona at the end of February. In regards to mobile phones, the pace is frenetic and every manufacturer wants to have your pinch of prominence. HTC is not less.
Few weeks ago we have been receiving rumors of what would be the first release of the Taiwanese manufacturer in this 2017. HTC X 10 You must arrive to replace the HTC One X 9 which came about the same time of the already-2016. What is strange is that the last filtration, quite complete, shows a drop of power from one generation to the next. Cameras improve, it won’t be all bad.
Cutting back on the processor
This latest filtration coming from the future HTC X 10 comes from a pretty reliable source when we speak of terminals still not launched, Evan Blass or evleaks on your Twitter account. It tells us that the HTC X 10 would maintain the same screen size and resolution of the HTC One X 9, which would place us before a smartphone with a panel Super 5.5 inches FullHD LCD. In other words, 400 pixels per inch.
HTC more strange movement in the evolution of its X line comes when you look at your processor. HTC One X 9 landed with a helium X 10 control, an eight-core processor to 2, 2 GHz with a GPU PowerVR G6200. For the new generation is expected to step back, by placing in front of HTC X 10 a chip MT6755V, the P10 Helio also of MediaTek, 1, 9GHz and with a Mali GPU T860. Same cores, less speed, worse processor.
Nothing would change for memories, which would be kept in the figures of One X 9 with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. All as a single model and with the possibility of expanding the internal memory with a microSD. Nothing we know about connectivity, although your processor predicts support for LTE category 4 and in the loading port, we could have a USB type C, the port already used the recent Bolt HTC or HTC Evo 10. Headset port? We will see when presented.
More megapixels and direct the first quarter
When we got to the section on cameras we see which seems to be the unique evolution of the HTC X 10 with respect to the previous generation, or at least the only positive developments. Filtration points out that the terminal would have a rear 16.3 megapixel sensor and another 8 megapixel front. Nothing is spoken about openings, ability to record video, or the type of LED flash that will accompany the rear sensor.

If you look at that HTC One X 9 arrived with 13 and 5 megapixel, the improvement can be seen. The quality of the resulting photographs, something that has not been the Fort of HTC in the past years, will have to be testing with the device once it is submitted. By the way, it seems that it will come in the first quarter. In the MWC in Barcelona? It seems a propitious date, although we expected for January.
